PROTECTIVE INSTRUMENTS SUITE

While instruments and hand-to-hand training are all important skills to posses, they do not qualify as total knowledge of how to effectively and appropriately protect personnel.  All critical situations can have multiple actors and variables, but one constant that all players must adhere to is what the MTMS calls the “Steps to Solution”.

This process is naturally followed by all parties involved in a crisis with the winner of the crisis being the one that proceeds through these steps the quickest and most appropriate. Our approach to training will allow for an improved internal information pull therefore allowing for better assessment and a more efficient application during those critical seconds when winning an incident is on the line.  The MTMS approach to the use of firearms in support of the protective mission comes first from an acute understanding and application of the appropriate protection platforms that the specialist may be assigned to.  A common mindset may exist throughout our solution, but it is paramount to understand the differences between the various missions and how the individual or team applies those tactics and skills respectively within the mission set.

Defensive Firearms for the Protection Professional

This course will first teach and measure against the Paul Howe CSAT standard.  This will be the foundation of the course with intermediate and then advanced concealed pistol techniques being built upon it.  The morning of the first day will focus on the “CSAT Standard” then that afternoon the instructors will provide intermediate instruction on …
